It is close to Bamburgh Castle and Lindisfarne on Holy Island. Berwick upon Tweed is only 20 minutes away and Etal and Ford with the River Till just 5 minutes away. Clayton Cottage is ideal for those seeking the very quiet and unspoilt area of North Northumberland.
There are local walks and quiet roads and lanes for cycling, walking or driving, straight from the cottage. Northumberland has many castles to explore and the battle site of Flodden Field at Branxton is only two miles away.
All heating is included, plus the coal and wood for the real fire, together with bed linen and tea towels - all included in the rental.
